Delete your FullStopBD account

What this page is

This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from FullStopBD (Android app com.softkarrot.fullstopbd and the FullStopBD website), both operated by SoftKarrot.

If you still have the app

Deleting takes a few seconds and needs no one’s help:

1. Open the FullStopBD app and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.

Your data is removed straight away and you are signed out. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

What must be settled first

FullStopBD holds money for you and delivers cash-on-delivery parcels, so the app will not delete an account while something is still owed either way. If one of these applies, it tells you which, and what to do:

• Money in your wallet. Your main balance, cash-out balance and pending earnings must all be zero. Withdraw what you have first, or email us.
• A withdrawal or recharge that is still being processed. Wait until it has been approved or rejected.
• An order that has not been delivered yet. The courier still needs your name, phone number and address. Wait until it is delivered, cancelled or returned.
• A shop you run on FullStopBD. A shop has its own customers and orders. Email us to close it first.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@fullstopbd.com with the phone number you used to sign in and the subject line Delete my account.

We will send a one-time code to that phone number to confirm the request really comes from you — we cannot delete an account on an unverified request, because anyone could send it. If there is money in your wallet we will arrange to pay it out to you first. Once you confirm, we delete the account within 30 days, and in practice within a few working days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — name, phone number, email, WhatsApp number, address and profile photo
• Your saved delivery addresses
• Your cart, wishlist, saved-for-later items and saved photos
• Your support chat history and any photos or files you sent in it
• Your reviews and ratings, and the photos attached to them
• Your community posts (with the comments under them), your comments and replies, your reactions and poll votes
• Reports you made and members you blocked
• Your notifications, push notification tokens and in-app activity record
• Your referral code — nobody new can join with it

All of it is erased permanently. None of it can be restored.

What is kept, and why

• Orders you already placed are kept, because we must hold accurate sales records for accounting and tax purposes. Your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address and street address are erased from them first and replaced with a placeholder; what remains is the items, totals, status and delivery region.
• Your wallet ledger — the record of past earnings, recharges, transfers and withdrawals — is kept as a financial record. Its balance is zero by then.
• Your place in the referral chain.People you referred keep their accounts, and the referral chain above and below you keeps working. Your entry in it becomes an anonymous “Deleted account” with no name, phone number, email or photo. A referral bonus that would have reached you goes to FullStopBD instead.

None of these records carries your name or contact details any more. If an order of yours was fulfilled by one of our supply partners, the partner received the delivery details on it at the time; deleting your account does not recall that copy.
